I am a firm believer that everything has a home. I provide professional organizing and decluttering services throughout South Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Many of the families I meet have moved here and don’t have any relatives nearby—making it difficult to switch out seasonal closets, stay on top of playrooms, clean out the pantry or get the home office in order.

The heart behind Refresh & Reclaim Rooms is simple; I am here to support those who want to make their everyday life more manageable. My goal is to create beautiful, sustainable systems that are easy to maintain—so you can move through your home confidently, even in the dark. Ultimately, I want to help you save time, reduce stress, and reclaim your peace.

A bit about me: I was born in Flushing, NY, raised in South Orange, NJ, and moved to Charlotte in 2019. I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 15 years, currently working in Pediatrics, and have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles and settings. I love the versatility and flexibility that nursing offers—allowing me to be present for my husband, our two daughters, and our dog, Montauk. My schedule also gives me the opportunity to volunteer at my daughters’ schools.

While helping set up for Book Fairs, organizing the Lost & Found, and the Uniform Closet, the idea for starting a professional organizing and decluttering business took shape. I realized my gift for creating functional, peaceful spaces could be of value to others. And nothing would bring me more joy than helping members of my community refresh their rooms and reclaim their peace.

The name R & R Rooms holds a multilayered meaning. It represents what I do—refresh rooms and reclaim peace—and also who I am: Vanessa Recio Ruangchotvit. My eye for design, creativity, and innovation comes from my father; my love of order from my mother. Naming my business this way is both a tribute to them and a step toward building my own legacy.
