Vanessa helped me organize and clean my primary bedroom closet; an area in my home I had been trying to tackle for YEARS and just got too overwhelmed. I have a difficult time making decisions, but Vanessa was patient and kind throughout the whole process. She helped me group items into groups of donation, trash/recycling, keep/move, etc. I keep saying that she brought my closet back to life because that's how it feels. This was something I would have NEVER been able to do on my own and I wish I had done it sooner now that I see the results. I highly recommend Refresh and Reclaim rooms! Vanessa is so amazing!! She truly helped us get our pantry and new toy closet in order! Prior to all my sons toys were all over the living room floor and now we are utilizing a coat closet and she build storage space inside the closet for all my sons things! Vanessa is wonderful to work with and completely non-judgmental. My bonus room functions as workout/office/craft space. She worked with me to properly store holiday items - even though I have tons and tons of Christmas decorations. When I told her I was not downsizing those bins, she figured out the best way to store them in my side attic space that allows me to rotate seasons/holidays and stay organized. She reorganized my workout area to better function. She helped me go through tons of photographs and organize them into two distinct bins that make sense and allows them to be accessed. Now my bonus room has designated spaces for everything I want to do there and can function as a spare bedroom with the pullout sofa now that I don’t need to be embarrassed by someone seeing it! Vanessa helped me organize our kids’ playroom. With baby number 3 on the way I wanted to get that space more functional.

She had such great organizational ideas, made the best use of each cubby and basket, helped me relocate things we don’t use as often and clear out things we don’t need. She even rehung pictures! I love how open the playroom is now so the kids have more space to use their toys. I love that our nugget couch can now be used as seating (when it’s not a fort). The kids can see more of their favorite things and everything has a place. She even helped me organize a closet so we had room to put away games and puzzles. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Vanessa and Refresh and Reclaim Rooms. What started as a kitchen organization service completely transformed the way our home functions day-to-day. My kitchen went from total chaos to serene and organized in way less time and in a more functional way than I could have ever accomplished. Longer review: Vanessa is a magician of the best sorts. No tricks, all talent. As a busy, working mom to multiples, Vanessa just understood me. She knew exactly what I meant when I explained that I felt overwhelm and chaos when entering the kitchen area. I genuinely was in tears upon seeing the finished product.

Utilizing what we had, Vanessa came through and organized the entire kitchen. It is functional, calm, organized, and easy to keep up with while unloading dishes after work with a baby on my hip and while practicing 2nd grade spelling lists. Everything has a place and there’s a place for everything. And it makes perfect sense in a way that feels obvious after the fact, but also that I recognize I would’ve never thought of. She asks all the right questions to determine how often we use something or even if it’s time to find new owners for other items.

Vanessa is kind and non-judgmental. I felt genuine embarrassment for the state of the kitchen. But she never passed judgment either in words, tones, looks. Her sole approach is kindness and her passion for helping is clear. I am so grateful to Vanessa and we will most definitely be utilizing her services again soon in other areas of our home. -Gursharon Shergill

Today Vanessa came to my home to organize my closet, which was a total nightmare. She was so professional! She helped me decide what to keep and what to donate, which was a huge help since I find it very stressful to make decisions about things I no longer use.

I had such an incredible experience! I hired Refresh and Reclaim for help after a move and the service I received exceeded my expectations. Vanessa unpacked and organized our kitchen and playroom in a way that reduces clutter and helps me and my kids find what we’re looking for quickly. She works efficiently and calmly (something particularly welcomed in the aftermath of a home move). I was pleasantly surprised that she also took initiative to organize items she unpacked that didn’t fit squarely into the kitchen or playroom (ie the frames she found and beautifully displayed on my piano and mantel).
